Committee of the Primary Teachers’ Mathematics Association
held its second annual conference on
Saturday, October 11th 2003 from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30
p.m.
Professor
Deborah Loewenberg Ball, from the University of Michigan at
Ann Arbor, delivered the keynote address, which
examined how teachers can cover the revised curriculum content
while teaching in an innovative way.

programme also included two sets of concurrent workshops and
presentations and attendees were able to attend two of
these sessions as well as the keynote address.

number of educational suppliers were also on hand to
exhibit a wide range of mathematical equipment so it was a good
opportunity to stock up on materials for the year ahead.
